## Privacy

### What this site publishes

This site lists companies only, with their city and state. It never reads the owner attributes (race, ethnicity, gender, veteran status) that the SBA file carries, nor street addresses or loan amounts. Sole proprietors and self-employed individuals are left out.

### What your browser sends

No analytics, no advertising, no cookies. Searches run in your browser against static files. A click on a
referral link is counted (site, link and page — no visitor identifier). The host (Cloudflare Pages) keeps ordinary
server logs.

### How we are paid

- **Dated reports and Pro access.**
- **Referral**: the Pro page carries one link, to micro1's program for companies that have stopped operating. micro1 pays this site a commission if a partnership is signed through it; the company pays nothing. No one pays to appear here.

### Corrections and removal

The data is a public record. If something is wrong, or you want an entry removed from this site, write to us: we
cannot change the official file, but this site is not the government.

**Do you control the records of a company that has closed?**

The internal data of a company that employed 50 people or more (Slack or Microsoft Teams archive, documentation, project histories) may still have value after it has stopped operating.

[Check whether this company’s data qualifies →](/pro.md) We are paid by the buyer if a partnership is signed, never by the company. Whether personal data in those archives can be transferred is a legal question for whoever controls them. Not affiliated with the U.S. Small Business Administration.
